San Carlos Solar Energy (SacaSol) solar farm is the country's first utility-scale solar farm. The solar farm began construction in September of 2013 and currently operates at a capacity of 45 MW. The project is a joint venture between AC Energy subsidiary Visayas Renewable Corp. and ThomasLloyd Group Plc.
